It started the other night after dinner. We all headed out to the garden, and as I settled into my chair, I offered the Girl my camera for the first time. My Nikon. She looked intimidated, but I secured the strap around her shoulders, showed her the shutter release button, and let her go for it.
Much giggling followed.
Here's a bit of what she captured.
She took more than 200 pictures in thirty minutes. A shutter bug is born.
The next morning, I handed her our old Canon point & shoot. I gave her some guidelines (always wear the wrist strap, put it away when you're finished, don't touch the lens, have fun) and off she went.
She's taken so many pictures, I've had to clean the memory card twice.
Most of them are of flowers.
Wonder where she gets that from? (ahem.)
Don't you know, he's in on the fun, too.
